WolfPack Athlete of the Week (Feb. 3, 2025):

Jorja Kopytko led the way as the Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's curling team made a triumphant return to the Canada West stage this past weekend. 

Throwing third, the psychology major from Kamloops was incredibly consistent and made multiple timely shots to help get TRU all the way to the championship game.

TRU started the weekend by going 2-1 to win their pool before defeating the Lethbridge Pronghorns and eventual champion Regina Cougars in playoff games. While Regina took the rematch in the championship decider, Kopytko and the WolfPack earned Canada West silver in the school's first time competing at the CW level since 2016.

Next up for Kopytko and 'Pack is a trip to Lethbridge where they will compete in the U SPORTS National Championship from Feb. 24-28.
