Fitness Class Descriptions
Zumba – A calorie-burning dance party accompanied by a lively playlist. A Latin inspired class that takes the “work” out of workout! Choose your own movement intensity, whether low or high, and have fun from class start to class end.
Please note: Tuesdays 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Zumba class is more low impact and gentler on the body.
Stretch and Relax – Keep calm and unwind in this low impact fitness class. The instructor will lead you through a series of stretches and relaxation techniques that will soothe the mind, the body, and the soul.
Metabolic Conditioning – A class beneficial for a whole-body workout. This session is a mix of strength and cardio training where movements and music are choreographed to music. Participants will use light to moderate free weights and will perform more repetitions.
Variety Vault – Start the week off right! A hybrid class of weights and low intensity cardio. Class is taken at your pace and taken with any modifications required.
Tabata/Shred - An interval training-based class that includes short bursts of exercise alternated with low-intensity recovery exercise. This class includes cardio and strength exercises using body movements and free weights.
Bootcamp Circuit – A class taken at your own intensity and is suitable for beginner, intermediate, or advanced exercisers. Circuit stations are designed to enhance endurance, strength, and power! We will have fun using various equipment such as TRX, Bands, Bosu Balls, Battle Ropes and much more. Challenge yourself and have a great time while doing so.
Weight Wednesdays – Work all muscle groups with a variety of strength and conditioning exercises. This class will tone the upper and lower body using weight and a mix bag of equipment. All levels welcome.
Strength Training - A weight training class that will utilize mostly free weights and body weight to build power and strength. Participants will dig deep as they can, to build strong muscles.
Pilates Fusion - A combination of barre, Pilates and fitness. The focus will be on strengthening and toning the body using small, targeted movements with a focus on core strength.
Friday Lites Express - There is always time for fitness! This effective 30-minute class will give you momentum and clarity for your weekends! Do not let this class pass you by! A class that will incorporate different fitness equipment and varying and fun cardio moves!
Yoga Class Descriptions
Yoga Flow – Explore alignment of the body and mind. Classes will focus upon a series of yoga flows including downward dog, warrior poses and opening poses for the shoulders, back and hips. Some classes may include inversions and an opportunity to work up to arm balances. Options will be provided so that everyone from beginner to intermediate will enjoy a well-rounded practice.
Gentle Yoga - Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm the body, as well as focusing on slower paced movements as well as alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. A restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching.
Hatha Yoga -A set series of postures challenging your strength and balance. This practice will provide the balance of Yin and Yang. Come to the mat with an open mind and leave feeling stronger, rejuvenated, and relaxed.
Cardio Barre – an upbeat workout that incorporates high-energy exercise sequences that combine traditional, bodyweight barre exercises with continuous, fat-burning, metabolic movements.
