WolfPack Athlete of the Week (Nov. 1, 2021):

Second year forward Asher Mayan was dependable all weekend long to lead the WolfPack to a 1-1 record in their first action of 2021-22.

The product of Langley started his weekend off with a double-double, picking up 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 69-67 loss to the UNBC Timberwolves. Mayan, a science major, followed up that effort by scoring 15 points and adding four rebounds in the team's 77-72 victory over the UBC Okanagan Heat.

Next up for Mayan and the WolfPack is a trip to Prince George for games against the UNBC Timberwolves on November 5 and 6.

The science major from Surrey picked up a double-double in her first Canada West game with 13 points and 13 rebounds on on Friday night to lead the WolfPack in both categories. Sireni again was a focal point of the offence on Saturday with 12 points while also adding four rebounds and two assists.

Next up for Sireni and the WolfPack is a trip to Prince George for games against the UNBC Timberwolves on November 5 and 6.
