WolfPack Athlete of the Week (Nov. 30, 2021):

Veteran Matthew Gauthier made some WolfPack history this past weekend, putting in an incredibly strong showing at the Canada West Championship.

Gauthier, a product of Sylvan Lake, AB, recorded the best individual finish in program history when he touched the wall in fourth place in the 50-metre breaststroke. Gauthier also recorded finishes of ninth in the 100-metre and 11th in the 200-metre breaststrokes.

Gauthier also qualified for the U SPORTS National Championship in the 50- and 100-metre breaststrokes, and will become just the second member in program history to swim at the National finals.
