Overview
  • TRU has declared in Canada West curling this year and has one entry available in women's and one in men's to the Canada West curling championship in Calgary in January.
  • The top two teams from the Canada West championship will earn an entry to the U SPORTS national championship in Lethbridge in February.
  • This is a self-funded model – i.e., teams must commit to covering all of their own expenses for training, travel, accommodations, team apparel, meals, and any other associated costs.

    • Contact information of all team members
    • Statement that the team agrees to cover all of their own expenses
    • Statement that the team members all agree to be in compliance with U SPORTS and Canada West curling regulations.
  • A school qualifier will take place in November 2024 to determine which teams win the right to represent TRU. Dates/times of the qualifier will be communicated once it is determined how many teams will be competing for the TRU spots.
  • Note: In collaboration with the TRU WolfPack, the TRU Curling league and the TRUSU registered curling club will organize the qualifier and facilitate the selection of the TRU Curling representative teams (email info@trucla.ca or gefink@tru.ca for more information).
