KAMLOOPS – A total of 71 Thompson Rivers University WolfPack student-athletes were honoured Tuesday morning, as the 'Pack held their annual Academic brunch.
47 members of the WolfPack earned a spot as a 2024-25 U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian. To achieve U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian status, a student-athlete must have used a year of eligibility in a U SPORTS sport and also achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Alongside those U SPORTS Academic All-Canadians were 24 TRU Scholar-Athletes. TRU Scholar-Athlete's are those who did not consume U SPORTS eligibility in 2024-25 and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
"Earning this accomplishment while performing at the highest level is an incredible achievement and one that everyone should be incredibly proud of," said TRU director of athletics and recreation
Curtis Atkinson. "To achieve this high standard, our student-athletes have shown tremendous dedication, discipline, and leadership and I congratulate them."
