WOLFPACK HOCKEY SIGNS SECOND KAMLOOPS STORM VET

Mike McCance with Storm One of the biggest successes of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack hockey team has been the establishment of a place to play for former Kamloops junior and minor hockey grads while they go to school.    Since the WolfPack entered the BC Intercollegiate Hockey League two years ago, the majority of their players have been these types of players. The WolfPack are pleased to announce that another former Kamloops junior hockey player has committed to them for the 2011-12 season. Mike McCance of Whistler, BC had been the team captain of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League  Kamloops Storm the past two seasons.  Now that he has fulfilled his junior eligibility, McCance has decided to stay in Kamloops and play with the ‘Pack.
