Playing with what should be their starting lineup for the first time, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's volleyball team dropped an exhibition Canada West match on Friday (Oct 4).
The Pack were in Langley, BC losing in straight sets to the host Trinity Western University Spartans. The scores were 30-28,27-25,25-16.
"We had chances in the first two sets but we couldn't execute, "said WolfPack head coach
Chad Grimm. " I liked the compete level. We had some swings in those sets but couldn't convert. We stayed with it and stayed in the match. I think we made too many errors but I am ok with that because the errors were technical not effort errors."
The WolfPack move into Vancouver on Saturday (Oct 5) for an exhibition match at UBC. They open their Canada West regular season on Friday, October 18 th in Brandon. Their home opener is Friday, October 25
th at the Tournament Capital Centre against the University of Calgary Dinos. Game time is 6:45 pm.
