Two losses and a tie. That was the record of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's volleyball team this weekend as they hosted their own exhibition tournament.
On Saturday (Sept 28), the Pack dropped a straight set decision to the UBCO Heat. Friday(Sept 27) saw Thompson Rivers break into two squads to play MacEwan. They tied 2-2. Later ,
Chad Grimm's squad lost in five sets to the UBC Thunderbirds. The scores were 25-14,25-22,23-25,18-25,15-12.
Kendra Finch (5
th year, outside hitter, North Vancouver, BC) led the offense against UBC with 14 kills. Newcomer
Kseniya Kocyigit (1
st year,Byaroza, Belarus) had nine kills.
The WolfPack head to the coast next week for a tournament hosted by Trinity Western and UBC.
