For the first time in a while, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's basketball team failed to split a Canada West weekend series.
This weekend in Victoria, the Pack lost both ends of their two game affair with the host Vikes. On Saturday (Jan 25), the score was 79-59.
Thompson Rivers falls to 7-9 on the year while the Vikes are 9-7. The game was the Vikes "Shoot for the Cure' night.
Jordon Robb (1
st year, forward, Kelowna, BC) scored TRU's first nine points and scored a pair of triples for 13 first half points. She ended the night with 16 points on 10 shots.
Leilani Carney (5
th year, guard, Burnaby, BC) had a pair of three pointers in the first half and ended with 13 points. The Vikes out rebounded TRU 45-26.

The WolfPack returns their final two contests of the regular season at the Tournament Capital Centre. The WolfPack will entertain the University of Fraser Valley Heat on January 31
st and February 1
st. That is "Alumni Weekend" and will feature "Donors" being honored on the Friday evening. The Saturday will see Thompson Rivers' two fifth year players—
Emma Piggin (Kamloops, BC) and
Leilani Carney (Burnaby, BC) honored after the contest.
The Vikes will visit Manitoba next weekend.
