Weekend Story

KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's volleyball team will open their 2022-23 Canada West regular season at home this weekend when they welcome the Brandon Bobcats to Kamloops.

Playing at the TCC, TRU will welcome the Bobcats for games on Friday at 7:15 p.m. and Saturday at 4:45 p.m. The matches between the two teams will reignite a rivalry that has seen the squads meet up in the playoffs multiple times. In the 36 times that the teams have met since 2006, TRU holds a 19-17 edge but it was Brandon who won the most recent contest between the two teams when the Bobcats took a 3-0 victory in the first round of the playoffs.

Returning many key players from the 2021-22 squad that made it to the postseason for the tenth time in program history.
