1: Entry will be free for any fan wearing orange at both of the games.
2: For the first season in WolfPack history there will be a beer garden and hot food being served inside the TCC all year long. Kid's Club presented by McDonald's is also back, featuring muffins, yogurt and colouring sheets.
3: TRU went 4-4 in the preseason, with the highlight being a 3-0 win over the three-time defending CW champion TWU Spartans.
Weekend Story
KAMLOOPS – Canada West volleyball action will return to the TCC this weekend when the Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's volleyball team starts their 2022-23 season at home.
Starting the year within the friendly confines of the TCC, the WolfPack will welcome the Brandon Bobcats for games on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The matches promise to be close contests between two young squads, TRU was picked 10th in the annual CW Coaches Poll while the Bobcats came in at 12th.
The WolfPack will return many of the key pieces that led the way last season, while also welcoming a pair of veteran newcomers in
Ema Palkovicova and the return of
Abby Spratt. With head coach Chad Grimm taking a year-long leave, long-time assistant coach
Behlul Yavasgel will take over as head coach of the 'Pack this season, completing a full-circle after he first journeyed to Kamloops to play volleyball for TRU in 2005.

Erin Mutch is back to lead the 'Pack this season, providing an offensive punch for a talented squad. Originally from Victoria, Mutch excelled last season despite battling injuries throughout the year. The arts major was limited to just ten games but finished second on the team in both kills and points. Mutch and the 'Pack will be looking to get back into the postseason after missing out last year.
