Weekend Story
KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's volleyball team will look to get things back on track this weekend when they host the Saskatchewan Huskies inside the TCC.
Facing Saskatchewan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, TRU will be looking to rebound after a difficult outing in Kelowna last weekend.
Despite going the distance in a pair of five set matches, the 'Pack were unable to come away from Kelowna with a victory after suffering back-to-back losses. TRU is now 4-4 on the season and tied for sixth-place in the conference. They are just one game behind fourth place with the top eight teams making the postseason.
Just ahead of the 'Pack are the Saskatchewan Huskies (5-3). The Huskies have split every weekend but one in their season so far and most recently went 1-1 against the Mount Royal Cougars in Saskatoon.
