KAMLOOPS – In what will be the penultimate home weekend of their 2021-22 season, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's volleyball team will be looking to pull off the upset when they host the Trinity Western Spartans inside the Tournament Capital Centre.
Hosting the 9-1 Spartans on Friday at 6:45 p.m. as well as on Saturday at 3:45 p.m., the games will mark the fifth-straight weekend of games for the 1-11 WolfPack.
The WolfPack are back at home after falling in a pair of close games last weekend against the Fraser Valley Cascades in Abbotsford. The 'Pack fell 3-1 on Friday before pushing the Cascades to the limit in a 3-2 loss on Saturday.
Seray Altay was named the WolfPack Athlete of the Week after the product of Istanbul, Turkey recorded a team-high 23 kills over the two games.
Trinity Western picked up a pair of 3-0 wins over the UBC Okanagan Heat in their last action, going a perfect 6-0 on the weekend.
The Spartans swept the WolfPack on the opening weekend of the season all the way back on November 5-6. Trinity Western won all six sets the teams played.

1: Fans 12-and-over attending the games will be required to show proof of full vaccination. Per provincial guidelines attendance will be limited to 50 per cent capacity.
2: The WolfPack are in search of their first regular season win against the Spartans since February of 2016 when they took down TWU 3-1 inside the TCC.
