Saskatchewan entered the playoffs with a record of 10-10 last year before embarking upon a postseason run that saw them knock off the TWU Spartans and UFV Cascades to qualify for the U SPORTS National Championship.

TRU was perfect to start their campaign last week, defeating the MacEwan Griffins by a score of 3-0 on back-to-back nights. The WolfPack received contributions from throughout their lineup and it was third-year outside hitters Hail Ward and Keira Gent that keyed the 'Pack attack.

The Huskies enter the weekend with a record of 2-2. After starting their campaign with two losses to the Alberta Pandas they earned victories of 3-0 and 3-2 over the MRU Cougars in their last action.

These teams met twice last season with TRU earning back-to-back 3-0 wins over Saskatchewan on the road in Saskatoon.
