KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's volleyball team is set to play their final games of 2025 inside the TCC this weekend when the Manitoba Bisons come to town.
Facing the Bisons at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, the WolfPack will be trying to get back to winning ways against a surging Bisons squad.
The WolfPack (2-8) came close to pulling off an upset over an Interior rival last weekend. Facing the No. 7 nationally ranked UBC Okanagan Heat in Kelowna, the WolfPack had a trio of match points but ended up falling 3-2 in an incredibly tight affair.
Manitoba (4-4) enter the weekend as winners of their last four straight games. After starting their season 0-4, Manitoba has swept the Calgary Dinos and Brandon Bobcats in back-to-back weekends.
These two teams split the two games that they played last year in Winnipeg with
Rylan Ibbetson leading the way with 16 kills in TRU's 3-1 victory.
