Season Story
KAMLOOPS – After a weekend on the road the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's soccer team will be back inside the friendly confines of Hillside Stadium this Saturday as they get set for a single home contest.
Taking on the UNBC Timberwolves on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., the WolfPack will be looking to get back to their winning ways after a tough trip to Vancouver in their last action. Taking on the reigning national champion Thunderbirds, the 'Pack hung tough through the first half but couldn't keep pace with UBC in an eventual 5-0 defeat.
TRU is 4-3 on the season and enter the weekend in sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division with 12 points. Standing in their way of making it 15 points is a Timberwolves team that is still searching for their first point at 0-7. Despite the winless record, UNBC has proven themselves as a difficult match up multiple times this season with three of their losses coming by just one goal.
These teams faced each other earlier this year with the WolfPack picking up wins of 5-0 and 1-0 in Prince George to start the season.
The WolfPack are 13-5-3 in Canada West play against the Timberwolves.
