Filip committed to the WolfPack in mid-August, 2019. He has attended both Kwantlen Polytechnic and Simon Fraser. With Kwantlen, they won the PACWEST title and went to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association soccer nationals. His greatest sports moment came last May when he was selected to train in Europe with a Second Division team while training at one of Europe’s top keeper academies. Something his teammates might not know about him is that he can only cook scrambled eggs and hash browns. His father Zoran played Second Division soccer in Croatia. Filip and his family fled war-torn Serbia in 1996 and came to Canada as refugees. Filip’s hobbies include playing FIFA and refreshing his Twitter feed for soccer scores. Recently when he was flying from Serbia to Germany, Filip was sitting across from Ajax Player Dusan Tadic. Obviously, he had to get a selfie of himself with Tadic. His favourite dessert is chocolate chip cookies with chicken and rice being his favourite food. Step Brothers is his favourite movie. Filip enjoys Rap music and Monopoly is his favourite board game.
