Biography

2019-20

James has played 28 Canada West career matches starting in 27 of them. He has career totals of seven goals and eight assists (scoring five times and adding five assists in 2018). James is one of the four WolfPack team captains this year. He was a dominant player in the team’s first ever Canada West playoff win (in 2018 over Saskatchewan), as he scored twice and added an assist. He was a Canada West second star of the week on September 25. This past summer, James played for the Penticton Pinnacles in the Pacific Coast Soccer League’s Premier Division. He then joined current teammates Josh Banton and Jan Pirrates and recent alumni Mitch Popadynetz and Finlay McPhie with the Canadian Pro Soccer League Saskatchewan Selects. He played U-19 soccer overseas in the Netherlands in 2014 at Excelsor Rotterdam. He played soccer this summer with the Penticton Pinnacles of the PCSL (Pacific Coast Soccer League) Premier men’s division. His greatest sports moment came in 2014 when he helped Penticton win the U21 PCSL cup.
