Zahk red shirted with the WolfPack for two seasons (2016-17). Last year, he dressed eight times and started twice. Before coming to TRU, his Kamloops Youth Soccer Rep team finished second in the provincials four times and third in the provincials twice. His Sa-Hali Sabres team finished second at the provincial high school championships in 2014 and 2015. Zahk’s biggest inspiration is his father, Nunzio, who encouraged him to play sports as a child. Zahk also played volleyball and basketball in high school. After graduation, Zahk hopes to become a sports physician. If Zahk could have dinner with any celebrity, he would choose Lionel Messi, who is his favourite soccer player. Zahk’s favourite movies are the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and his favourite actor is the franchise’s star, Johnny Depp. His go-to song at karaoke is the Neil Diamond classic Sweet Caroline. Zahk’s advice for younger athletes is: “be as fit as you can be.”
