2019-20
Verdiel is co-captain of the WolfPack again this season (her third straight season). Her “ironman” streak of starting 25 straight Canada West matches was snapped at the beginning of last season when she suffered an injury. She started in the 12 matches she was dressed for last year. Verdiel was a finalist for the Cliff Neufeld Leadership Athlete of the year in 2018-19 by TRU Athletics. She is one of three players gracing the WolfPack season schedule poster and is one of three fifth year players on the roster. Natalie was the MVP of the BC “AA” provincials in 2015 (the same year her team won the title). She was also her schools female top athlete award in 2015.
