Biography

2019-20

Schulte-Luinberg made the WolfPack after coming in as a ‘walk on’ at training camp last year. Her greatest sports moment came when she was playing senior girls soccer in high school as a grade 10 at the provincials (2015) and against the third ranked team she was assigned to shut down and defend their top player. Not only did she do that but she scored the winning goal. Sam was named MVP of her soccer team throughout high school and was chosen as her schools athlete of the year in 2017-18. Something that her teammates might not know is that because both her parents are deaf, Sam knows sign language. She played rep soccer in Penticton and has been a teammate in the past of current WolfPack player Marisa Mendonca. Steve Schulting (her high school coach) is her greatest influence for pushing her to be her best. She jokingly says that she wouldn’t appear on any reality show because she gets stage fright. Her dream job would be anything that involves working with children.
