Fuoco had a breakout year in 2018-19 as she started in seven of the 12 league matches she dressed for with one assist and 21 shots (nine on goal). When asked about why she likes being a WolfPack athlete, “I get to be a part of a positive team culture-my teammates are also my friends which creates a good foundation for a successful team. I also get to represent my home town and have fun doing it.” Her favourite local restaurant is Peter’s Pasta. Fuoco’s biggest influences have been her mother and coaches who have helped her with confidence. If she could dine with a celebrity it would be Oprah Winfrey because she is wise and would give great advice. Her favourite visiting field is MacEwan because they played some of their best matches (preseason) and bonded as a team. Her advice to incoming players, “Come in strong and be open to new challenges. When things get hard, it only makes you stronger and better as a player and as a teammate. Don’t forget to have fun.”
