Taylor returns to the WolfPack after a few years off as she completes her athletic eligibility while entering the Faculty of Education. She was a member of the Thompson Rivers team which won PACWEST titles in 2011-12 and 2012-13. Playing youth soccer in the Kamloops Youth system, she was a part of two BC championship teams (U16/U17). Taylor was a competitive hockey player growing up and played with the Kamloops Vibe senior women’s team for one year. Her greatest sports moment came in 2011-12 when she went with the WolfPack to the CCAA nationals in Laval, Quebec. Her fondest sports moment came in 2014-15 when she played with the WolfPack with childhood teammates Bri Powrie, Taylor Shantz and Marlie Rittinger. Her brother played Junior “B” hockey in Creston. Her favourite singer is Ariana Grande. “Step Brothers” is her favourite movie with “Gossip Girl” being her favourite TV Show (it was also the last series she ‘binged’ watched). Taylor’s favourite foods are pizza, pasta and burgers. If she could be on a ‘reality show’ it would be “Big Brother” because in her words, “who wouldn’t want to lounge in the sun and play games’. Her favourite Kamloops restaurants are “Dorian’s” for dinner and “Scott’s Motor Inn” for french toast. Taylor’s favourite board game is ‘Monopoly’. What Taylor likes most about being a TRU athlete is that youngsters look up to you so much and most players don’t even realize it. She adds that being a role model is an awesome feeling. Her favourite community event is “McHappy Day” because it is a worthy cause. She is making moves to fulfilling her dream job which is to become a teacher.
