First-year forward Esi Lufo hit the ground running this past weekend, tallying a goal and an assist in a pair of TRU road games.
The Business major from Tirane, Albania played all 180 minutes on the weekend, scoring a goal against Saskatchewan before recording an assist against Regina.
Lufo opened her WolfPack goal-scoring account in style Friday, sending a thunderbolt of a shot into the top corner in a 2-1 loss. The forward then turned provider on Saturday, helping set up Berea Woldeyes for a goal in TRU's 1-1 tie with Regina.
Lufo and the 'Pack are back in action this weekend when they host the Lethbridge Pronghorns Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Hillside Stadium before welcoming the Calgary Dinos to MacArthur Island Field 2 on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
