The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Cross Country team had a good showing at this weekend’s 8.4 kilometer Campbell Mountain Run near Penticton. For Men: Bronson Tazelaar Bronsen Tazelaar placed first (47:36) in the Under 19 category. In the 20-29 category TRU held the top 5 finishes; Chris Curl (1)38:51, Timothy Routtu (2)39:13, Obed Masege (3)40:04, Adrian Ballam (4) 43:34 and Eric Goldie (5) 44:58. Chris Curl For Women: Jessie Pautisan Strong finishes in the 20-29 category with team captain Jessie Paustian taking second (51:00) , Alannah Stewart third (53:11), and Maria Enebjor fourth (59:12). Alannah Stewart The full team competes in two weeks and will face off against the UBCO Team at the Larry Nicolas Memorial Cross Country 9K in Kelowna October 16. The final race prior to Nationals will be October 30th in Vernon. The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Championships are being held November 12 th at McCarthur Island.
