It wasn’t the way that Pat Hennelly would want to finish his regular season. The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s volleyball head coach saw his team sputter at times as they lost 3-1 to the Manitoba Bisons in Canada West action Saturday (Feb 8) at the TRU Gym.

“We couldn’t move up or down in terms of playoff positioning tonight,” said WolfPack head coach Pat Hennelly about his team’s performance. “ It seemed like it wasn’t all there for us. I am not sure why. Maybe the guys felt that it wasn’t an important game in the standings and didn’t want to get one more victory. There were moments where we did play some good volleyball but we didn’t have the focus to follow through. It is unfortunate. Some guys came out and had a pretty good night but others didn’t have it from the service line.”
Manitoba was led by Devren Dear(2
nd year, outside hitter, St. Andrews, MB) who had 19 kills in 43 chances with one service ace and seven digs to go with a block assist.
