Brown Finishes Fourth At 2014 CIS Curling Nationals

Canada West particpants at 2014 CIS Curling The Corryn Brown foursome, representing Thompson Rivers University have finished fourth at the 2014 CIS Curling Nationals. Brown finished the round robin on Saturday (March 21) with a 12-2 victory over the New Brunswick Varsity Reds, skipped by Jennifer Armstrong. TRU wound up at 4 and 3 in the event, which was held at the Caledonian Curling Club in Regina, Saskatchewan. The rest of the Brown foursome consisted of second Sam Fisher and third Erin Pincott. All four are students at Thompson Rivers University. Alberta finished the round robin on top with a 6 and 1 record while Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawks and the Carleton Ravens were second at 5 and 2.  Those three schools will move to the playoff round on Saturday and Sunday.
