A perfect weekend for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men's basketball team.
The WolfPack played two exhibition games before their home fans on the Champ court at the Tournament Capital Centre this weekend.
On Friday (Oct 18), The WolfPack took care of the MacEwan University Griffins 79-58.
On Saturday (Oct 19), Thompson Rivers took down the University of Fraser Valley Cascades 93-75. The Pack led 29-21 at the quarter mark and were up 55-40 at the half.
Tyus DeVries (3
rd year, guard, Chilliwack, BC) had 25 points to pace the WolfPack.
Joe Davis (5
th year, forward, Kamloops, BC) added 22 points while
Anton Bilous (5
th year, forward, Cherkassy, Ukraine) added 16.
Fraser Valley was led by Parm Bains with 22 points. Sukhraj Baines added 15 with Matt Cooley chipping in 10.
The WolfPack will open their 2019-20 Canada West regular season on Friday, November 1
st at the Tournament Capital Centre facing the Trinity Western University Spartans. Tip off will be 5 pm.
