The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men's basketball team concluded the 2018-19 Canada West season on a losing note.
The WolfPack fell to the undefeated and defending national champion University of Calgary Dinos 91-59 Saturday night (Feb 2) at the Jack Simpson Gym in Calgary.
The WolfPack finish the season at 6-14 while the Dinos were perfect in 20 starts. Thompson Rivers finished 14 th in league standings.
SYNOPSIS
The WolfPack outscored the Dinos 19-17 in the second quarter but were outgunned 50-30 in the second half.
Anton Bilous had 14 points to lead TRU while
Enrico Nuno chipped in with 12.
Derek Rhodes-playing in his final university game had 10 points. Calgary was led by Lucas Mannes with 25 points. Mambi Diawara added 19.
The WolfPack lost their last six league games.
