The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack are en route to Edmonton, Alberta for their first pre-season tournament of the 2019-20 Canada West campaign.
Pat Hennelly and his crew will be competing in the FOG volleyball classic which begins Thursday (Sept 19) at the Saville Community Sports Center.
The WolfPack have five matches of the three day length of the tournament.
They open things up on Thursday night (6 pm MDT) as they face Mount Royal. The Pack have two matches on Friday. The first is 11 am (MDT) against the NAIT Ooks (Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference) and then at 8 pm (MDT) when they face the team they knocked out of the Canada West playoffs last season: the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
Thompson Rivers will close things out Saturday (Sept 21) with matches at 11 am (MDT) against the SAIT Trojans (Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference) and then the University of Calgary Dinos (6 PM MDT).
The WolfPack open their 2019-20 Canada West regular season Friday October 18 th against the Bobcats at Brandon University. Their home opener is one week later—Friday, October 2th when the University of Calgary Dinos come to town. Men's Volleyball has moved their home match times on Friday to 5 pm on the champ court at the Tournament Capital Centre.
