WolfPack Cheers "Team Black" make top 10 finish at World Championships

Team Black on stage in Orlando 2020
The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Cheerleaders known as "Team Black" are coming home with some hardware from the   ICU University World Cheerleading Championships hosted by ESPN at their facility at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Team Black delivered a performance with "Zero deductions" and placed fifth in the competitive "All Girl Premier Division". The competition was held Sunday (Jan 20).

The division was won by Brock University of Ontario. Northern Arizona University was second followed my Memorial University of Newfoundland.  Penn State was fourth with the University of Ottawa winding up sixth.

This is the WolfPack's second year competing in the Premier level. They won a 'full bid" to these championships last spring by winning an event in Edmonton, Alberta. This was the kick off to the WolfPack's 'competition season'.
