KAMLOOPS – For the second weekend in a row the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team will hit the road when they travel to Abbotsford to take on the Fraser Valley Cascades.
Scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Friday night and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, the games will feature a pair of teams that are 2-2 on the young Canada West season.
Playing in Prince George last weekend, the WolfPack split a pair of games with the UNBC Timberwolves.
Simon Crossfield scored 14 second half points in a 68-57 win on Friday but TRU's offence went cold in a 69-57 loss on Saturday.
The Cascades meanwhile, lost a pair of close games in Vancouver against the UBC Thunderbirds. Vick Toor scored 28 points across the two games as UFV lost 70-64 and 80-72.
Fraser Valley took both games that these teams played in 2019-20, picking up wins of 100-91 and 92-73 over the WolfPack in Kamloops.
