No. 10 Cascades lead wire-to-wire in victory over ‘Pack

KAMLOOPS – It was all Cascades all the time Friday night, as the host UFV squad took down the visiting Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's basketball team by a score of 103-28.
 
Ranked as the tenth best team in the country entering the weekend, Fraser Valley dominated the proceedings Friday night. UFV hit on 60 per cent of their shots from the floor and won the battle on the glass by a tally of 44-18.
 
Makeba Taylor led the way offensive for TRU with eight points and three steals. Elana Sireni contributed five points while rookie Jaya Saroya added four.
 
Six players for Fraser Valley hit double-digits in points. Julia Tuchscherer recorded the first triple-double in program history with ten points, ten rebounds and ten assists.
 
The WolfPack will be back at it tomorrow evening in Abbotsford, looking to pull off the upset in a game that begins at 5 p.m.
