Jadyn Patrick-Johnston carried the torch for the Thompson Rivers WolfPack swimming team at this past weekend's Canada West Championship.

The lone representative for TRU at the meet, Patrick-Johnston earned a spot in three 'B' Finals while competing against the very best swimmers from across Western Canada.
Patrick-Johnston's best result came in the 200-metre Inidividual Medley where he swam a time of 2:08.84, good enough for third in the 'B' Final and 11th overall. Patrick-Johnston reached a pair of other 'B' Finals during the weekend, finishing 16th overall in both the 50- and 100-metre butterfly.
The product of Williams Lake rounded out his meet with a 19th-place finish in the 50-metre backstroke.
In his first with the 'Pack, Patrick-Johnston but together a strong showing at one of the most competitive events in the country.
