Weekend Story
 
KAMLOOPS – For the first time in three weekends the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team will be back at home inside the TCC when they host the UNBC Timberwolves.
 
Taking place at noon on Friday and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, the contests are the first at home for TRU since early January.
 
Friday night will be an exciting one inside the TCC, as the 'Pack host their annual McDonald's School Day Game. Hundreds of fans from across School District 73 will crowd inside the gym to see the 'Pack play UNBC.

TRU fought hard but fell in a pair of games to the UBC Okanagan Heat last weekend. Friday night saw UBCO just barely beat the 'Pack 73-70 before completing the sweep with a 72-65 victory on Saturday.
 
The Timberwolves come into the weekend after securing an impressive weekend split with the UBC Thuderbirds at home. The Timberwolves took game one 88-69 before falling 85-73 on Saturday.
 
UNBC won both games that the teams played in Prince George last season.
