HOW IT HAPPENED
  • A 7-2 run in the middle of the first quarter allowed TRU to pull out to a six-point lead thanks to a layup from Thomas Olsen. Chris Ross and Spencer Ledoux responded for the TWolves to even up the game before Cyrus Harrison gave TRU back the lead at 20-18.
  • After a low-scoring second quarter didn't solve much, the team's traded blows in the third. UNBC's Evgeny Baukin knotted the game at 38-38 before Reuben Wright put down a dunk and then knocked down a three-pointer on back-to-back plays. Daniel Bost sealed the frame for the 'Pack with a buzzer-beater layup to give TRU a seven-point edge entering the fourth quarter.
  • The final ten minutes of the contest were just as tight as the rest of the game. Bachurin stretched TRU's lead to 12 with six minutes left to play but the TWolves refused to go away. Ledoux capped off a 6-2 UNBC run to cut the lead to just five with under a minute left to play. Bost came up clutch down the stretch to knock down three free-throws to give TRU their fourth win of the season.
