KAMLOOPS – A home preseason tournament featuring some tough competition from across Western Canada is on the docket this weekend for the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team.
 
With the Alberta Golden Bears (14-6 CW regular season record), MRU Cougars (8-12) and UFV Cascades (8-12) coming to town for a pair of games apiece, the contests will feature a trio of squads that the WolfPack played close last season as the hometown 'Pack swept both UFV and MRU.
 
TRU, who went 6-14 last year and just narrowly missed out on the postseason, will look to hit the ground running as they debut a revamped roster with plenty of veteran faces.
 
Entry to the tournament is $5 per day and free for those 12 years of age and under.
