KAMLOOPS – Back at home inside the TCC this weekend, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team will wrap up their 2024 regular season slate against the Saskatchewan Huskies.
Taking place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, the games will see the 3-5 WolfPack host a 0-6 Huskies team that is hunting for their first victory of the season.
TRU is entering the weekend after a difficult trip to Langley in their last action. The WolfPack were defeated by the Spartans on Friday before falling in heartbreaking fashion, a last second desperation shot from half court, on Saturday.
Cyrus Harrison went 6-8 from the floor en route to a team-high 17 points Saturday night.
The Huskies are coming off their bye weekend. While their record is 0-6, Saskatchewan has played three of the top teams in the Prairie Division so far this season with their losses coming at the hands of the Alberta Golden Bears, Calgary Dinos and Manitoba Bisons.
TRU came out on top the last time these teams, met sweeping the Huskies in Saskatoon. The WolfPack are 3-1 in their last four against Saskatchewan.

1: In support of the Kamloops Food Bank, everyone bringing a non-perishable food item to the games all weekend long will receive FREE entry. The items will be donated to the annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
2: Prior to the game Friday night, the WolfPack will honour long-time Athletic Director Ken Olynyk for his induction to the Canada West Hall of Fame.
3: Papa Murphy's will be serving up pizza inside the TCC all season long.
