Weekend Story
 
KAMLOOPS – Flying high with the program's best start to a season since 2019-20, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team will play host to the UBC Thunderbirds inside the TCC this weekend.
 
Taking place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, the games will pit two of the three remaining undefeated teams in the B.C. Division against one another.

TRU started their season with aplomb last weekend, earning back-to-back wins over the UBC Okanagan Heat and the UNBC Timberwolves. Asher Mayan led the way offensively both nights for TRU as the 'Pack earned wins of 83-79 and 88-85.
 
The Thunderbirds, who are ranked No. 2 in the nation, survived a scare from the UFV Cascades Thursday night in a 75-72 victory before pulling away from TWU on Saturday by a tally of 99-78.
 
UBC took both matches that the two teams played when they last met in the 2022-23 season.
