HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After falling into an early hole, the WolfPack rebounded to take the first set. Trailing 10-5, a kill from Erlalelitepe along with both a block and kill from Faith Christensen sent the WolfPack on a quick 6-0 run to give them the lead. From there the 'Pack were able to take the set with ease as Ward, Erlalelitepe and even setter Libby Meldrum recorded kills down the stretch to allow TRU to take it 25-18.
  • TRU blew open what was a tight second set late. Tied up at 18-18, TRU scored seven of the next nine points with a block from Gent and Christensen putting an exclamation mark on the 25-20 set victory.
  • While Regina bounced back to take the third, TRU ended the night in the fourth. A 7-0 WolfPack run with Christensen at the service line gave the WolfPack a 13-4 lead that they wouldn't surrender en route to the commanding 25-14 win.

  • The result moves TRU to 5-2 on the season where they sit third in the conference.
  • The WolfPack had six players (Gent, Erlalelitepe, Ward, Dancheva and Christensen) hit over .300 per cent in the match.
