"We are very excited to announce that Kiyo Brown will be returning home and joining the WolfPack men's basketball program for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. Kiyo is a very hard working and determined student athlete who brings a positive mindset and energy to our program. After graduating from Westsyde Secondary and being a major contributor in his senior season, he understands what being part of a winning program requires. This past season he gained valuable experience at the college level and has worked very hard to improve his skillset and physical abilities. Kiyo is a very skilled player with an excellent touch around the basket and can step outside and shoot the basketball with confidence. He has a very good understanding of the game and how he can help our team.

"I started taking basketball seriously in grade 9 and decided I wanted to pursue playing at the post-secondary level. TRU was always a goal of mine as it is my hometown team and I watched them play frequently. I am super excited to be able to represent the WolfPack and be able to play in my hometown in front of my friends and family once again."
"During my time playing at Okanagan College I learned many lessons on and off the court. OC was a place that helped take my game to the next level and give me to the opportunity to come home and play for TRU so I am super grateful for everyone at Okanagan College."
"I had a very special high school career playing at Westsyde and had multiple provincial experiences. My most memorable was the one in my grade 12 year where we placed 4th in the province. Our quarter-final and semifinal games both came down to the wire. I loved these moments in the provincials because I got to play against top talent while also putting my game on display!"
