KAMLOOPS – Going 1-2 on the weekend, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack baseball team was unable to advance to the semifinals at the Canadian College Baseball Conference Championship this past weekend.

A 4-1 victory over the Calgary Dinos wasn't enough to offset losses of 8-0 and 13-4 to the Fraser Valley Cascades and Victoria Golden Tide respectively.
With the top two teams from their pool of four advancing, the WolfPack finished third in pool B.
Starting their tournament against the reigning champion Cascades, the WolfPack were in tough. Veteran
Kurtis Wall and rookie
Matt Coxon both recorded a hit in the shutout loss.
The team responded in their next game against the Dinos.
Zac Robinson pitched four strong innings to record the win, with Brady Barrack coming on for the save. Coxon recorded the lone the RBI for the 'Pack with
Josh Wright crossing the plate twice in the 4-1 win.
In a must-win game Sunday morning, the WolfPack were unable to hold off the Golden Tide. A grand slam from
Matt Olsen in the first inning got things off to a hot start, but from there it was all Victoria as they would score the next 13-straight runs for the victory.
This brings an end to the WolfPack's Fall slate of CCBC play, after a break for the winter they will get a chance for revenge in the Spring.
