3: There will also be hot food and cold beer served up inside the TCC at every WolfPack game this season.
Weekend Story
KAMLOOPS – Riding their longest Canada West winning streak in five years, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's basketball team is set to face a tough test in the form of the UBC Thunderbirds.
Hosting UBC at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday inside the TCC, the games will be pivotal ones in the standings with TRU and the Thunderbirds both currently holding records of 5-5.
The WolfPack made it five wins in a row last weekend when they started the second half of their season with back-to-back victories over the Saskatchewan Huskies in Saskatoon. Rookie
Cyrus Harrison was named the WolfPack Athlete of the Week after leading the way with 35 points over the two games.
On the road in Brandon last weekend, the Thunderbirds split a pair of games with the 8-4 Bobcats.
While the teams hold identical records of 5-5, they have arrived at that mark in vastly different ways. TRU started the year with five straight losses followed by their current five game winning streak. On the other hand, UBC has split each of their five weekends so far this season.
UBC took all three meetings that two teams played last season.
