WolfPack WBB to meet UFV in final exhibition tilts

The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's basketball team will close out their exhibition season this weekend.

The WolfPack are heading to Abbotsford, BC to take on the University of Fraser Valley Cascades. The teams will play each other Friday and Saturday (Oct 18-19).

Thompson Rivers is coming off their first victory of the preseason dumping the Capilano University Blues 71-59 getting 15 points and 17 rebounds from Brooklyn Golt (2nd year, center, Langley, BC).
Emma Piggin (5th year guard, Kamloops, BC) had 19 points, nine rebounds and seven steals.

The Cascades have a local flavour on their roster this year in former South Kamloops Titan Maddy Gobiel.

The WolfPack open up their 2019-20 Canada West regular season on home court on Friday, November 1st. They will entertain the Trinity Western University Spartans at the Tournament Capital Centre. Tip off that night will be 7 pm
