The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's basketball team opened up a two game exhibition series in Abbotsford, BC Friday night (Oct 18) with a loss.

The Pack fell to the host University of Fraser Valley Cascades 55-53.

Emma Piggin led the way for TRU with 14 points. Leilani Carney added 11. Courtney Sampson chipped in with six points, Jordon Haggardy had five points  with Jordan Wilkinson adding 4.

The two teams will meet Saturday (Oct 19) in Abbotsford to close out TRU's exhibition campaign. They begin the Canada West regular season Friday, November 1^st at the TCC when they host the Trinity Western University Spartans.
