KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's basketball team will be back on home court this weekend when they host the UVic Vikes for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday night.
Facing the Vikes for the first time this season, the games will start at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and will feature a 1-12 WolfPack team looking to snap a six game losing slide when they take on a 4-4 UVic squad.
The WolfPack enter the weekend after a pair of losses to the UBC Thunderbirds in their most recent action. For the Vikes, this weekend will be their first games of the second semester, after missing the previous two weeks due to COVID-19 protocols.
The last time these two teams met was in 2019-20 when the Vikes swept the 'Pack by scores of 67-59 and 79-59 in Victoria.
3 Things
1: Fans 12-and-over attending the games will be required to show proof of full vaccination.
2: Per provincial guidelines attendance will be limited to 50 per cent capacity.
3: On Friday night the team will be recognizing Bell Let's Talk night to support mental health initiatives across the country.
