3 Things

1:  There will be hot food and cold beer served up inside the TCC at every WolfPack game this season.

2: The women's side of the Presidents' Cup – a yearly battle between TRU and UBCO across all the sports they compete in – is currently knotted up after the 'Pack and Heat women's soccer teams split a home-and-home series.

3: TRU's lone Canada West win last year came against the Heat inside the TCC.

Weekend Story

KAMLOOPS – Basketball is back at the TCC this weekend as the Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's basketball team hits home court for the first time this season.

Taking on the UBC Okanagan Heat in a pair of Presidents' Cup battles, the 'Pack will face UBCO on both Friday and Saturday night at 5:30 p.m.

TRU will be looking to pick up their first win of the season after a difficult road trip to start their year. The 'Pack lost a pair of games to the reigning U SPORTS silver medallist Winnipeg Wesmen by scores of 85-49 and 73-44.

The 'Pack will be looking to buck the expectations of coaches across the conference after they were pegged to finish 17th in the preseason Coaches Poll. UBCO finished 12th in that same poll.

UBCO holds a record of 2-2 on their season. After starting the year with a pair of losses at the hands of the Calgary Dinos they bounced back in a back way in back-to-back victories over the Brandon Bobcats at home.

By The Numbers

19-6:  The WolfPack are 19-6 all-time against UBCO in CW play.

5: TRU has won five of the last seven battles for the Presidents' Cup.

10: It was a balanced scoring attack for TRU last weekend with 10 of the 11 players who got in the game registering a point.
