"It's important," said Alexander on representing the WolfPack. "It's definitely tough to get used to - I'm used to having teams and people there with me - but it is nice to go out and represent the WolfPack and the university as best I can. It's good for the WolfPack to have someone in the meet and I'm glad that I can be it."
Going up against the top swimmers from across Western Canada, Alexander has some clear goals in mind; to earn a spot in a finals event and also qualify for a berth to the U SPORTS National Championship in the process.
Competing in the 50- and 200-metre breaststrokes as well as 200- and 400-IM events, Alexander will most likely be looking a strong finish in one of the medleys as his best chance to make to an 'A' Final. Last year the product of Lethbridge earned his best finish of the meet with a sixth-place finish in the 'B' Final of the 200-metre individual medley.
