Weekend Story
KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men's soccer team will be back at home this weekend, looking to get positive results from a pair of games.
Taking on the Lethbridge Pronghorns on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and the Calgary Dinos on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., the contests will see the 'Pack take on two foes from the Prairie Division.
Coming off a difficult weekend in the Lower Mainland, the 'Pack will be trying to pick up their first victory of the season.
Falling to both the UFV Cascades and TWU Spartans in their last action, the WolfPack have shown well throughout the year but have just missed out on securing a positive result in 2025.
Lethbridge is 1-1-2 on the year and are coming off a strong weekend in Edmonton. The Pronghorns picked up a 1-1 tie with the Alberta Golden Bears before picking up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over the MacEwan Griffins.
The WolfPack and Pronghorns have only met four times in Canada West play. The 'Pack hold the advantage in record with three wins and one tie against the southern Alberta squad.
Calgary, who sit second in the Prairie Division with a record of 3-2, played just one game last weekend. Taking on their crosstown rival, the Mount Royal Cougars, the Dinos fell 4-0 to MRU.
TRU will be looking for their first win against Calgary in Canada West play, they are 0-5-1 all-time against the Dinos.
